PRODUCT REVIEW: Lecheek Nutrition’s AmpiLean Black

I first found Lecheek Nutrition when a good friend and IFBB Pro Haley was sponsored by them.  I began to ask her for her opinion on what I should take to lose more weight because I had hit a plateau.  Haley suggested OXY ECA BLK.  So I used her code and bought myself a full bottle.  I want you to note I have bought this religiously for years.  I recognize I’m not talking about AmpiLean, but stay with me.

As you can clearly tell it worked!  Since I had lost so much weight I noticed my legs were bird like & my ass was legit nonexistent.  So began the great weight gain journey.  I quit ordering OXY ECA BLK for over a year because I was no longer in need of that kind of supplement.  Imagine my surprise when I could not find it! It was the best supplement I had come across by far!  It got me to really focus and push myself!

I began the search for the replacement for my OXY ECA BLK.  After long hours of searching I found that OXY ECA BLK lives!  Lecheek Nutrition simply changed the name to AmpiLean Black.

I gave you all the above information to let my readers know that I’ve been using Lecheek Nutrition’s products for over five years, and a tad bit of history behind the name and what it was called before AmpiLean. 

Now for my review!  As you can clearly tell this is going to be one hell of a review because I simply love it.  I would say after purchasing 6 bottles from the Lecheek Nutrition I would know what I’m talking about.  Since the formula for the black and the ampilean is exact same for the most part the review will be the exact same for both.

This supplement is for serious users only!  This pre-workout pill is like Hydroxycut on major steroids.  So if you’re a beginner buying this product I suggest you take only a half day at a time to see your tolerance.   At the maximum dose you would need to put in 3 hours in the gym or run a complete 5K and put your all into it.  If you think you’re going to take this supplement & do a small workout & then veg on the couch you’re in for a rude awakening.  This product will give you the jitters and the shakes if you do not work out. If you do work out hardcore it is the best workout for focus, endurance, and maximum effort.  I’ve used this supplement in softball games, running 5k’s, running mud runs, and hardcore gym training sessions.  It has been one of the key successes in my athletic career.

This is a stimulant as well as a thermogenic. It will have a crash to it in the end. You may feel cold when you crash because that’s the thermogenic wearing off.  It will speed up your heart rate so if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure I suggest you go to the doctor first before beginning this supplement. I even went to the doctor and had my blood pressure and heart rate checked before beginning the supplement just to be safe.

In conclusion if you’re a serious athlete and you hit a plateau this is a supplement for you. I have used a supplement for over 5 years and I would not write this kind of review over it if I did not have personal experience from it.  Now that I’m down to prep season again I will be making the order for a new bottle of AmpiLean Black.  In my opinion one of the best supplements on the market!

The weight you start out with should burn at 15.  If you wanted to do 20 -25 reps on the first set, that’s perfectly fine.  Burner sets are a great way to get those muscle fibers in action for better hytrophy. 

I think there’s nothing sexier on a man or woman than nice shoulders.  It’s my first look when I see someone, what kind of shape are their shoulders in!

DERAILMENT TO GOALS: Car Crash “A Series of Unfortunate Events”

As we head down the road with one headlight, somehow we got turned around. Please, let’s not forget we are flatlanders not hillbillies. We head the wrong way going back to where we just came from. It was very dark outside because there’s no lights in the hills & woods. We had 1 headlight trying to navigate these winding hill infested roads.

My husband looked down to his phone to pull up yahoo maps, & swerved across the double yellow lines in a small town we were passing through. Of course, here comes the lights and sirens. The officer pulls us over asking for all our identification. As we hand him all the id’s; he then pulls my husband out of the car for a sobriety check. A sobriety check was to be suspected seeing as he crossed a double yellow. After passing the follow the light game, the stand & count game, & 2 breathalyzers later he was deemed completely sober. My husband then preceeds to ask the officer how to get back to the bootheel of Missouri. He let’s us know we were heading the wrong way, & tells us which way to go. So again the four of us push onward to our journey home with 1 headlight on a Chevy Malibu.

Somewhere along the way, I fell asleep in the car unbuckled. I never can sleep in the car for fear of a wreck while I am asleep. I will also confess a small part of that is a biproduct of me being so controlling about making sure I’m awake to yell at the driver if I get my butt hole puckered.

PRODUCT REVIEW: WOD Fitters Foam MFR Roller

I have been on my fitness journey now for 5 years. I have always seen those foam rollers, and wondered what the heck are they for? I started looking at them at Walmart. The basic foam roller with no studs or ribs on it wasn’t too bad of a price, but I wasn’t willing to pay it. I then noticed one that had some texture on the roller. The price on it was even more and I still deemed it not worth it. So I left Walmart with no foam roller in hand.

Recently the workout Gods dropped a WOD Fitters foam roller at my front door. I won it on their Facebook contests they run, so FYI THEIR FACEBOOK CONTESTS ARE LEGIT. It came with its own little bag to put it in for traveling. I also noticed that the foam roller itself was not only ribbed but also studded. I then did a little research over the foam roller itself from WOD fitters. I found that the material that this roller is made out of resistant to microbes. Not saying I don’t clean it, but the fact that microbes can’t attach itself to it is a pretty damn good selling point.

I used to my new foam roller post-workout the day after I received it. I had done much research on YouTube about how to effectively foam roll my muscles. I was very skeptical at how this would help me, but once I used it it was like a million little Chinese elbows digging into my muscles. The feeling of the deep tissue massage done by this foam roller left me feeling amazing afterwards! If it ain’t hurting when you’re rolling; it ain’t going to feel good when you’re done.

In my opinion, this is the best foam roller I have found on the market. Decently priced when I looked at their website, & they seem to stand behind their product! WOD Fitters also offers many other massage products for athletes on their website which I will be purchasing in the future.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Quest Protein Bars “strawberry cheesecake”

I first came across quest bars on Facebook.  All the fitness groups I am a member of on Facebook as well as on bodyspace has made me read a lot from my fitness family about Quest Bars being awesome.  I usually buy my protein bars at Walmart or Aldi.  My favorite protein bar from Aldi is the peanut & honey covered in yogurt. My daughter and I, our favorite protein bar from Walmart is cookie dough.  

In my small hometown with a population of only 1700 people, Walmart & Aldi is about all we have here. When we go over to Jonesboro, Arkansas we like to visit the Kroger. Kroger tends to carry a lot of foodie items that I really truly enjoy. While surfing the protein bar isle, I was enthralled at how many choices I had in front of me.  I have not only the options I had at Walmart, but now I have the option of trying a Quest Bar finally!  I chose Quest Bars strawberry cheesecake flavored protein bar. The bar was a bit more pricey than what I’m used to, but it was worth a try based on the reviews I’ve heard.

I noticed the nutritional values on the back of the packaging for the bar. Look above at the picture it pretty much explains for itself! From what I’ve experienced so far this is the truly only low carb are on the market with just two grams of active carbs. Those carbs are only from nutts and not sugars.  Protein in the whole bar is 20 grams!  I was very impressed by what I saw on the nutritional values.

LIKE ALWAYS WHAT YOU WANT TO REALLY KNOW! DID I LIKE THE FLAVOR?!

A protein bar will be a protein bar. Anyone who has ate a protein bar will know that it can be kind of gritty.  Just like all protein bars this bar is no different in that aspect. I was impressed by the natural strawberries that are actually within the bar itself.  Below are pictures of the bar once I opened it.

You can somewhat see the little flakes of dehydrated strawberries in the picture.  I was impressed at the fact that the cheesecake flavoring did not overpower the strawberry taste.   This was my first flavor of trying, but I did enjoy the strawberry cheesecake.

Was the bar worth the price? I don’t think so. I don’t think I’ll be buying another strawberry cheesecake flavor, but I will be trying some of the other flavors and I will be keeping you posted.

Please note this will be a protein bar I will be using during prepping weeks.

MY OPINIONS: How I Deal With Haters

The internet these days makes cyberbullying entirely too easy. Not only do young pre-teens do it, but I’ve seen grown adults act much worse than young children. Anyone with any sort of attention will always have a hater. Someone will hate on you for what you’re wearing. Someone will tell you are too fat, and in the same breath also tell someone they’re too skinny. In today’s society perfection is what everyone is after after, and much too often perfection is unrealistic.

I’ve had my fair share of cyber cyberbullying. I’ve had people simply want to be my friend on Facebook to troll and see what’s going on in my life. In my opinion, if they’re checking up on you so much at least that means you’re relevant.

I’ve had friends say I’ve changed maybe they’re unhappy they didn’t change. Maybe the haters are just simply disappointed in themselves because they stayed the same. I did change, just like anyone with ambition would. Anyone with ambition would never want to stay the same! I’ve changed everything about me. I have no desire to conform to anyone else’s wishes, & absolutely no desire to fit in. But I do have every desire within myself to improve myself.

I’ve had people laugh at my goals and dreams and say that they’re stupid. I’ve been told I have nothing more than pipe dreams. Maybe those people that are saying those things are just simply embarrassed that they don’t have any. Maybe I remind them of what weakness is. Maybe I’m reminding them of what weakness is, & that reminds them of who they are.

People like to say they know how I am. If they did know me they would know several facts about me. No one has ever asked me about my desire, my discipline, my willingness to sacrifice, or my willingness to work past dead. No one has ever thought to ask me what is it I’m willing to do to make it. If they had they would have kept quiet.

On the Dallas Cowboys locker room wall, in Cowboys Stadium, there’s a sign that have to slap before going onto the field. The sign states “Be your best regardless of the circumstances.” This is true about integrity; no matter what circumstance you may be in that does not dictate who you are in morality and inside your heart.

MY ADVICE ABOUT BULLYING!
there’s an old African proverb that states if there is no enemy within the enemy outside can do is no harm. Sometimes enemies are on the outside. The enemies can be family members or friends who tell you can’t. They think they know what’s best for you, and that you’re crazy for chasing your dreams. They think it’s in your best interest to live a safe life, and they want you to be average. You have to let go of these enemies, and it’s very hard. You just always need to remember it’s much harder living a lot less than your own expectations.

If you constantly surround yourself with cynical and negative people you will eventually adopt their habits. These habits can kill you! You need to align yourself with powerful people. You need to associate with people that are within the world that you live. Align yourself with those that Empower, and courage, or you can grow from.

Just remember to always dream. Dream like me, always searching for greatness. Always strive to be on top in life because it’s the bottom that’s always crowded.
You’re the producer and star of your own life. You and only you will decide if it’s a smash or a flop.

It’s better to walk alone and be successful. It’s a lot better to walk alone and be successful, than those that wander aimlessly through life and get absolutely nowhere. I’m always telling myself I know I’m better than them. I know I’m greater. Without them it wouldn’t blessing to me. Because without them I wouldn’t keep on growing.

You’re not a doormat, so stop letting them wipe dirt all over your face. It’s not their job to believe in you, don’t let them look down on you. Stand Tall, walk strong, and hold your own. There’s no one above or below you.

PERSONAL DIARY: The Guy That Grunts To Get Attention In The Gym

My husband had planned on helping my sister move her stuff into her new home in Jonesboro, Arkansas today.  So me being the PR person I know I can be decided to also plan ahead to work.  We all know my work consists of training mostly, so I decided to go to the gym my husband & I visited together before we were married.  I send out a notice via Facebook I was going to train not thinking much more about it.  I just wanted someone to train with was why I posted it, lame I know right!

As we roll into Jonesboro I see my alumni, my old school, where I got my college degree, Arkansas State University!  O! The fun my family had there at tailgates & football games.  I’m at the same moment preparing myself for what I’m about to have to do.

As I roll into the parking lot of the gym; I look at the huge building in front of me, and it is somewhat intimidating due to the fact in our small hometown gyms don’t look like this.  It’s not like I haven’t been in this gym a million times before, but it still intimidated me.

I first go in the women’s only weight room just to get adjusted. I do my stretching and a few machine weights in that room alone. I then noticed something funny to myself; 4 girls have trickled in, in the time I have been in this woman’s only weight room.  Out of the four girls that were in the weight room while I was in there two remained when I left.  The first girl did each machine for 5 seconds then left for the women’s locker room never to be seen again. I wondered to myself how could she possibly have gotten anything accomplished so I assumed I would see her again at some other part of the gym.  Another girl entered and she was in there approximately 10 minutes. I did pass judgment on her thinking the same as I did before with the other lady. Have you know, the second lady I met in the lady’s room, was up in the coed machine weight room. So I was wrong for passing judgment on her period she was there doing the same thing I was. Again, the second lady who entered the ladies locker room with me, was in the cardio area when I was up there. The girl that was on the machines for five seconds each time was never to be seen again.

I make my way down to the coed free weight room. Note I am the only female in this entire area. Given! that most gyms I visit, there’s always that one guy who wants to try to help you because he thinks you know absolutely diddly-squat about anything. I’ve become the queen of bitchery, so I always have a witty sarcastic comeback.

Most of the guys left me alone in the coed free weight room. But yet there’s always that one guy who seems to need to grunt like he’s constipated trying to pass a brick every time he lifts a weight.   Now I’m here to tell you he was grunting  excessively!  It wasn’t because he was actually putting out maximum effort, but rather he was trying to grab my attention.  Note again, had he been hot I could have tolerated the annoying grunts.    So to avoid this annoying behavior, I moved to the other side of the free weight room to do a bit of rowing action.  Rowing is the one thing I can’t do in my home gym so I was taking full advantage of this machine.  Here comes up Mr. Gruntfest!  After eight sets of rowing action; I then move back over to where I was at on the freeweights on the other side of the room.  So while I’m doing plate rows he then follows me back over there where I’m at.  He was like a bad case of herpes that I just couldn’t seem to get rid of.  I leave and go upstairs to the cardio area to do some stair climbing.  Thinking I had gotten rid of my case of herpes.

My goal in the workout was 17 flights of stairs. Guess who shows up? Mr. Gruntastic himself.  It took me 5 minutes to do 17 flights of stairs. When I saw him step up on the treadmill next to me, I kicked the level of the speed up about 9 notches.  Then I left.

I did what I came to do. I lifted weights really well I was pleased with my work ethic. I enjoyed seeing the friends that showed up. I did not expect anyone to show up actually, but the fact people did show up just to train with me made me feel fantastic!

Gentlemen, I have one bit of advice for you in the gym. To get the ladies, don’t get behind her or beside her and grunt every time you left the damn weight.  To follow her around the entire gym says you’re a stalker.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Halo Top Ice Cream “Birthday Cake”

I first found this product on Facebook when I liked their page.  Once impressed by visiting their website online I decided to locate the nearest seller of this miracle ice cream.  Bingo! Kroger in Jonesboro, AR carried this treasure!

I want to say as a lobbyist for buying products manufactured in the USA, I approve this product in this aspect of the subject.  It is manufactured in a creamery located in California.  Shown in the picture below.

While we are looking at this picture I want you to note a few nutritional values here.  These are a few things that turn me onto this ice cream.  The serving size is half a cup. The servings in 1 pint is 4.  The calories in only a half cup is 70 cals. If you ate the whole pint on a cheat meal you come out with only 280 calories! Which could make for a better option on depressed days or ice cream craving cheats.  I also want to point out the protein content in this ice cream.  In a half cup you will have 6 grams of protein.  If you ate the whole pint you would have 24 grams of protein! Carbs are 15g a serving, please note that for my prepping fans!

This ice cream freezes hard due to the fact they do not use artifical softeners in this product.  I let mine sit out a bit to make it softer. It’s an all natural ice cream made with all natural ingredients, no artificial sweeteners, vegan friendly, no GMOs, & gluten free.

The last point I want to make is what we all wonder……  is the flavor good?

YES IT IS! This flavor was out of this world!  It even has hidden sprinkles that we all know we enjoying finding hidden within the ice cream!  It’s like finding the prize in the cereal box.  It tasted like Baskin Robbins ice cream. I was simply blown away!

This is my first time buying this product & I WILL BE BUYING AGAIN.

My Secrets To Crushing My Workouts

VISUALIZE THE WORKOUT LONG BEFORE YOU BEGIN IT!

The intensity of my workouts demand a lot from me.  Not everyone’s workout will be as hardcore as mine, but no matter your level of exercise or fitness, the same focus I use to my workouts will also apply to you.  Your normal day to day life can never prepare you for the type of workout you will get results from. 

I prepare for a tough workout 60 minutes in advance, but I recommend at a minimum of at least 30 minutes before your workout.  Whatever I do, I will not wait till I’m staring down the barrel of a gun (the weights) to get mentally prepared. 

As I walk into any gym I get invited to workout at, I visually prepare mentally to what I’m about to do.  I visualize why I am about to do the workout.  I think about the $10,000 I could win in 8 weeks.  I visualize the beast mode engaging within me.  Then last, but not least, I think about how I want to feel after I am done with the workout.  Do I want to be proud or disappointed is the the question in my mind. 

I figure I have 2 ways to look at a workout.  I can either do it because I have to or do the workout because I actually want to.  Which sounds better to you?  I have done both with all honesty.  No one will ever want to do a workout because they want to 100% of the time!

PREWORKOUT INTAKE TIMING IS CRUCIAL!

We have all seen gym attendees chugging the preworkout either in the locker room or in the gym right before their workout.     Then those people walk out into the gym & are prepared to bust it. Drinking a preworkout then is entirely to late. 

Let me explain why this is wrong.  The caffine & enhancers have not had time to kick in.  The label on most preworkouts suggest 30-45 minutes before your workout.  I personally take my preworkout 30 minutes before I begin my workout.  Mentally, from habit it, it helps me also put me in workout mode by drinking it. 

Sometimes I feel down to some medical issues, & I will eventually disclose those issues in time in future posts.  For me, taking my preworkout & giving it time to kick in is key.  Cellucor C4 is crucial to me being successful in the most intense workouts.  I feel it kick in when the Beta-alanine, & makes my hands & feet tingle.

GIVE YOURSELF THE OPTION OF GOING BALLS TO THE WALLS!

My success was largely built by a few simple rules of ethics.  I operate by a few simple words.  The words speak for themselves.  My words of wisdom are: Consistency, dedication, sacrifice, resourcefulness, & disapline.  I will break down each word of wisdom in short.

Consistency in my training, my effective movements, my nutrition, & my living my life PERIOD!  My schedule is my best friend!

Sacrifice…. where should I begin.  I have sacrificed friends, family, and more than I care to ever explain.  If they bring you down or talk about you, they are not worth your time. 

Disapline was when I blocked family & friends because of unneeded drama.  If you aren’t bringing me up, you had to go!  When I did this act, I had nervousness, but once it did it,  I told my mom that it was like a 100 pound bag dropped off my back and I was free!  Disapline on nutrition, living style, & trainings should never be overlooked. 

Dedication is when life hands you those lemons.  What are you going to do?   Are you going to quit or are you going to say not today!  I have had derailments along my way that will all be posted eventually.  The key is if you get knocked down, by golly pick your ass up!  It might be 3 weeks later.  Reset & recover, then don’t let it stop you! 

Last is resourcefulness, & this is a key to not burning out!  The options of fitness never end.  Don’t burn out on 1 thing.  Variety is the spice of life!  A routine can kill sometimes.  Try at the beginning with something fun after your warm up.  A new exercise try is not only fun, but it is also educational. 

KNOW ALL YOUR NUMBERS!

Magic can happen for me when I do measurements.   I do my measurements once a week.  It makes me accountable to myself.  Not to mention, weight watchers success was the accountability by a number system!  I use my Bodyspace account for my tracking. 

ADD SOMETHING NEW ON 2 A DAYS OR THE MOST INTENSE OF INTENSE DAYS.

I add a cup or 2 of coffee in the morning.  Sometimes combined in my protein shakes for breakfast.  I use Cellucor’s C4 for preworkout.  Then multiple drinks made with Optimum Nutrition’s Pro BCAA Raspberry Lemonade drink mix.  BCAAs also help in the my delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).

Be proud of what you achieve! You’re better than those not even trying.  You stepped in the gym.  Making fun of an overweight person at the gym is like making fun a an alcoholic at a NA meeting!
